Educating for change launch Conference

The upcoming 30th January will mark the launch of the E4C Project, during the Opening Conference Vincent Tournecuillert, Coordinator of the Destination Unknown Campaign, will be holding a Keynote Speech about the rights of children on the move.
The project, named as “E4C – Educating for change: Capitalising on the EU Presidency in Malta to raise awareness on Agenda 2030”, seeks to promote development education and raise awareness on development and cooperation policies.
Through the project and by carrying out a comprehensive capacity building programme, SKOP will provide assistance and support to relevant national and local government representatives, civil society organisations in Malta and the general public.
E4C is the Presidency Project of Malta’s National Development NGO Platform, SKOP*. The E4C is being financed by the European Commission and the Maltese MFA, and implemented during Malta’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Conference will be opened by Dr George Vella, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Malta and will focus mainly on the topics migration, climate change and the rights of children, particularly those who are on the move. The meeting will bring together Maltese and international experts in the field, including civil society activists, government officials and academia.
