The Destination Unknown campaign is led by Terre des Hommes and coordinated by the Terre des Hommes International Secretariat.
The campaign is organised into ten regional hubs and made up of more than one hundred members, including all Terre des Hommes organisations and other specialised civil society groups. These hubs are based in Central America, East Africa, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, South America, South Asia, South East Asia, Southern Africa and West Africa.
Any campaign member can voluntarily engage as an active member of the Destination Unknown Working Group, who advise and develop the campaign strategy, monitor its activities and evaluate the results.
The Destination Unknown Campaign Assembly gathers all campaign members every 18 months to take stock of the movement’s progress. The Assembly also reflects, analyses and reports on the phenomenon of children on the move to define future strategy and build links among groups and individuals working with the campaign.
Children and young people – with and without migration backgrounds – participate in campaign assemblies and take part in defining the campaign’s strategy.
