The Faro model handbook: Mental health and psychosocial support to unaccompanied minor migrants and families with children upon first reception is a tool developed by Destination Unknown member Terre des Hommes to help service providers work with children on the move in a protective, supportive and empowering way.
The handbook provides a comprehensive overview of how effective psychosocial support can be delivered to both unaccompanied migrant minors and children who who arrive at a destination with their families after experiencing traumatic experiences. The latest edition of the handbook was published in 2017.
