Children and the Global Compacts on Refugees and Migration

The Global Compacts on Refugees and for Migration can be useful frameworks for improving the situation for refugee and migrant children so long as children are at the heart of their implementation. To support greater awareness of what is in the compacts for children, Destination Unknown is organizing a capacity building workshop for its members, partners and other interested stakeholders. The workshop will be an opportunity to:

• Understand what’s in the Global Compacts on Refugees and for Migration for children;
• Identify how these frameworks might be useful at different levels as part of campaign strategies for making change for and with children; and
• Exchange on how we can support their implementation.
